NXG Combi
The newest compound generation, for aggressive modern chemistries.

NXG is Westland's current-generation compound programme, developed for pressrooms whose chemistry has moved on faster than their roller supplier. Modern inks, energy-curing systems and stronger wash solutions attack conventional covers — swelling them, shrinking them, hardening the surface. NXG Combi is built to hold its dimensions and its dual affinity against that, on combination dampening systems.

Why it is specified
- Current-generation compound with high chemical resistance
- Dual ink and dampening affinity for combination systems
- Resists swelling and shrinkage from aggressive wash solutions
- Holds surface hardness — slower drift toward glazing
- Specified where conventional covers are failing early
Best for
- Modern combination dampening systems
- Pressrooms running demanding ink or wash chemistries
- Sites where roller life has become unpredictable
Other lines.
Every line is formulated around an ink system. If yours is changing, the compound should change with it.
Endura
The long-run workhorse. Decades on press and still the default.
Premier
Endura's discipline, tuned for commercial sheetfed quality work.
Ultima Combi
One compound that will carry both ink and dampening solution.
