Ultima Combi
One compound that will carry both ink and dampening solution.

A combination roller has the hardest job in the inker: it has to be wettable enough to carry dampening solution and oleophilic enough to carry ink, in the same revolution, without letting either take over. Ultima Combi is formulated for that balance. It is specified on alcohol and alcohol-substitute dampening systems where the bridge roller is expected to hold ink–water balance from the first thousand sheets.

Why it is specified
- Dual affinity — carries dampening solution and ink without stripping
- Stable ink–water balance from early in the run
- Resistant to swelling from alcohol and alcohol-substitute solutions
- Holds setting as the system reaches working temperature
- Reduces scumming and smearing caused by balance drift
Best for
- Continuous (combi) dampening systems
- Alcohol and alcohol-substitute fountain solutions
- Presses where balance drift is causing waste
